Surgical extraction of sperm - MESA and TESA

1. MESA- micro-epididymal sperm aspiration (MESA) removes small amount of semen from the epididymis.

2. TESA (Testicular Sperm Aspiration)-Aspiration of sperm from testicle. These procedures are indicated for same male partners who are unable to produce sperm. One single sperm is injected into the single egg after direct aspiration from the testicle.
