Treatments of female infertility
Depending on the problem, drug therapy or surgery may be required
-
Hormone Treatment: Oral tablets or hormone injections to induce ovulation
-
Surgery: After previous sterilization, patency of the fallopian tube can be established by microsurgery. Laparoscopy can be used to detect the presence of endometriosis, pelvic infection and adhesions. Endometriotic deposits and pelvic adhesions can be treated by surgery.
-
Assisted reproductive technologies: When treatments with drug therapy and surgery failed, then the use of assisted reproductive technologies such as IUI, IVF, MIFT, and ICSI may be considered to increase the chances of conception.
