We have a team of professional and caring medical staff giving a wide range of latest assisted conception treatments and investigations for sub-fertile couples.

Apart from providing high-tech treatments, factors such as the physical and mental status, the quality of clients' eggs and sperm are key factors that contribute towards a successful outcome. Research also shows that female fertility decreases significantly with age. Hence, our centre strongly encourages those who experience difficulty in conceiving to seek treatment as early as possible.

The success rates of treatment outcomes can be reflected by clinical pregnancy rate and take-home baby rate or live birth rate.

Clinical Pregnancy Rate

A clinical pregnancy is documented by 1 or more gestational sacs on ultrasound. (It is different from a biochemical pregnancy which is an early stage of pregnancy where there is no gestational sac seen.)

Clinical Pregnancy Rate of In-vitro Fertilization (IVF) - Embryo Transfer (ET) and Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET)

In women undergoing IVF treatment, more eggs can be obtained and developed into embryos, usually 1-3 embryos will be selected for transfer. The surplus embryos may be frozen for replacement in a subsequent stage.

In 2023, our centre has attained an overall ET and FET clinical pregnancy rate at 54%. Our clinical pregnancy rate for clients under the age of 34 was as high as 61%; whereas the success rate for clients over the age of 41 was as expected, lower, at 30%.

Not all IVF cases have suitable embryos for transfer.

Clinical Pregnancy Rate of Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)

In 2023, the overall clinical pregnancy rate of IUI in our centre was of 14%. The success rate for clients under the age of 34 was 18%; whereas the success rate for clients over the age of 41 was as expected, lower, at 6%.

Take-home Baby Rate

The take-home baby rate reflects the true success rate, which is lower than the clinical pregnancy rate. Pregnant women conceived through assistance with assisted reproduction have the possibility of miscarriage and pregnancy loss.

Take-home Baby Rate of In-vitro Fertilization (IVF) - Embryo Transfer (ET) and Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET)

In 2022, the overall take-home baby rate of ET and FET in our centre was 39%. The take-home baby rate of ET and FET of different age groups is as follows.

Take-home Baby Rate of Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)
